I’m always glad when there are initiatives geared towards environmental conservation and preservation. For instance, there’s SM’s MYOB (MY Own Bag) every Wednesday which encourages shoppers to bring their own shopping bags instead of having to rely on the store’s green plastic bags. There’s the Trash to Cash, a waste recycling market, every first Friday and Saturday of the month.
I was also impressed by Human Nature’s packaging for their products (see photo above) - recycled magazines instead of packing it with a plastic with their logo on it as most shops would do. When the Human Nature saleslady handed over the packaging, I was impressed.
I also remember my friend O who gave us gifts wrapped in old newspaper. I really thought it was cool and am thinking of following suit. Gift wrappers from recycled magazines and newspapers are just one of the many simple ways we can do to protect Mother Earth.
A blogaholic I am,
and a workaholic as well.
I love working late at night,
when the drowning noise outside ceases,
and unexpected distractions
leave me in peace,
when my mind and soul becomes alive,
focused on the task at hand,
when silence seems like a long time companion
and the clock becomes my unwanted hasty foe.

These adorable black eyes staring at you are from the cutest bedroom slippers I’ve ever seen. These are just less than 5”, so it’s really that cute but it sure would be comfy for little feet with its towel-like material and anti-slip soles. My 5-year old nephew loves everything green so I bet he’d find this pair cute as well. Too bad it won’t fit him anymore. It looks more like a toy than something for the feet, yeah?
