Last month, we decided to have a weekend getaway just within the city, at the subdivision where my cutie sis purchased a lot, the Pacific Shores subdivision.
Here’s how the place looks like…

We called up the Pacific Shores office the day before to arrange for our day’s stay, so the guard at the gate immediately let us in. We only had to pay for the cottage rental since my sis is one of the subdivision lot owners.
The kids had a great time at the pool, while we enjoyed our lunch of grilled pork and dried fish. Despite the cloudy weather and slight drizzle, it was such a relaxing day for us, spending time with family while having a great view of the beach.
I used to work for a telecommunications firm before and I could say that I had a great time with my job as a quality control engineer and preparing our company’s technical standards. Aside from doing site inspection and checking on field equipment and installation, I also spend a lot of time in the office doing research. I had to keep up with the latest standards and practices in the field of telecommunications. It’s quite a challenge to do research when it comes to technological advancement.
Our suppliers are also a big help as they keep us informed of the latest innovation and provide seminars for our engineers as well as letting us visit their production plant. Some product suppliers would also provide technical documents and other relevant articles which were really useful in my research work.

Are you one of those who have invested in real estate properties for future gain? I’ve known some friends who have shelled out their hard earned salaries and invested in lots and properties and it’s good to know that the units they’ve purchased have already increased in value. How time flies! My nephew is growing up to be a big teenager and he’s now taller than his auntie. Oh well, I remember when he was still about six years old and I used to accompany him in his regular taekwondo practice. He used to be such an energetic kid that time and now that he’s in his teens, he’s still physically active and his hobbies and interests are not only with playing PSP and computer games but also with sports and especially playing ice hockey with his friends.

Last month I stayed again at the condo units of my siblings and I’m glad that we were able to host some guests for an important community affair. The downside was that one of the bathrooms had a faulty toilet. Too bad we were too busy; we only had the time to have it checked and repaired after the guests were gone and to think that that problem was just easily solved with a simple connection.
